Rivolto (Udine) : 60esimo Anniversario delle “Frecce Tricolori”, 18-19 Settembre 2021

Due giorni di grande festa nel weekend del 18 e 19 Settembre 2021, con un Air Show internazionale, per celebrare il 60° anniversario delle Frecce Tricolori a Rivolto (Udine), storica sede della Pattuglia Acrobatica Nazionale, alla presenza delle massime cariche istituzionali e con circa 17.500 persone, equamente divisi nelle due giornate che hanno potuto accedere all’interno della base aere solo perchè muniti di invito.

Presenti il presidente della Repubblica Sergio Mattarella, la presidente del Senato Maria Elisabetta Alberti Casellati e il ministro della Difesa Lorenzo Guerini. Ed è stato proprio il ministro a prendere la parola, “Una giornata speciale per le Frecce, una giornata speciale per gli italiani che ammirano le Frecce Tricolori, la loro capacità, coraggio e dedizione. Rappresentano l’eccellenza dell’Aeronautica militare italiana”, ha detto il ministro della Difesa Guerini, arrivando alla base aerea di Rivolto. “Sono il simbolo delle forze armate italiane – ha aggiunto -, che abbiamo visto all’opera anche di recente a Kabul con il ponte aereo che è stato organizzato, ma che vediamo impiegate in tutti i teatri in cui sono chiamate a portare il loro impegno”. “Un abbraccio quello che oggi le Frecce tricolori realizzano per il paese – ha concluso – così come lo hanno realizzato nel corso dell’emergenza sanitaria lo scorso anno. Tante emozioni e tanta voglia di guardare al futuro e di volare in alto”.

A Rivolto si sono esibite le pattuglie acrobatiche estere invitate all’evento ( show iniziato intorno alle ore 13), la Formazione Legend e sono seguite le presentazioni di alcuni velivoli solisti come l’Eurofighter F-2000, il nuovo T-346 ed il C-27J del Reparto Sperimentale Volo dell’Aeronautica Militare. Prima dell’esibizione delle Frecce, è stata simulata un’azione in 22 minuti per dimostrare al pubblico e alle autorità presenti le capacità aeree e terrestri dell’Aeronautica Militare. Tra le simulazioni, l’esfiltrazione in 4 minuti di personale da un aeroporto, traendo spunto dalle recenti attività effettuate nel teatro operativo afghano, ad opera di un C-130J con la supervisione dei Fucilieri dell’Aria. E, ancora, un attacco da parte di un F-35A contro un sistema di difesa aerea nemico. Momento clou della dimostrazione, un passaggio in hovering (volo stazionario) di un F-35B e la “sfilata” nei cieli sopra la pista dei velivoli da trasporto tattico C-130J e C-27.

Le Frecce Tricolori ovviamente hanno chiuso la manifestazione andando in volo intorno alle ore 18, davanti ad una folla entusiasta nel vedere il cielo colorarsi con il nostro tricolore lungo ben 5 km.

Degna di nota la colorazione dei velivoli MB-339PAN che sono stati decorati con le nuove spettacolari livree che celebrano i Gruppi acrobatici precursori della Pattuglia Acrobatica Nazionale finalmente unificata nel 1961, quando cominciò ad essere conosciuta come Frecce Tricolori. La nuova livrea è dedicata alle prime pattuglie acrobatiche operative presso i singoli reparti volo dell’Aeronautica Militare che operarono tra il 1950 e il 1961.

La manifestazione aerea si è svolta il 18 e 19 settembre con inizio delle attività di volo alle 13.00.

A partire dalle 15.45 fino alle 18.40 l’evento è andato in diretta TV su Rai1 e, per le due giornate, sui canali social media dell’Aeronautica Militare (nello specifico, pomeriggio del 18 settembre sul canale Youtube e mattina del 19 sul canale Youtube).

Rivolto (Udine): “Frecce Tricolori” 60th anniversary, 18th-19th September 2021

Two days of great celebration on the weekend of 18th and 19th September 2021, with an international Air Show, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Frecce Tricolori (Tricolour Arrows) at Rivolto (Udine), the historic headquarters of the National Aerobatic Team, in the presence of the highest institutional charges and with about 17,500 people, equally divided in the two days that were able to access the air base only because they were provided with an invitation.

The display at Rivolto involved the foreign aerobatic teams invited to the event (show started around 13.00), the Legend Formation, followed by the presentations of some solo aircraft such as the Eurofighter F-2000, the new T-346 and the C-27J of the Experimental Flight Department of the Italian Air Force. Before the performance of the Frecce Tricolori, an action was simulated in 22 minutes to demonstrate to the public and the authorities the air and ground capabilities of the Air Force. Among the simulations, the exfiltration of personnel from an airport in 4 minutes, drawing inspiration from the recent activities carried out in the Afghan operational theater, by a C-130J under the supervision of the “Fucilieri dell’Aria” (Air Riflemen). And, again, an attack by an F-35A against an enemy air defense system. The highlights of the demonstration were a hovering pass of an F-35B and the “parade” in the skies above the runway of the C-130J and C-27 tactical transport aircraft.

The Frecce Tricolori obviously closed the event flying around 18.00, in front of an enthusiastic crowd to see the sky coloured with our 5 km. long flag.

Noteworthy was the paint scheme of the MB-339PAN aircraft, which were decorated with the new spectacular liveries that celebrate the precursor acrobatic groups of the National Aerobatic Team, finally unified in 1961, when it began to be known as Frecce Tricolori. The new livery is dedicated to the first aerobatic teams operating in the specific flying units of the Air Force that operated between 1950 and 1961.

The air show took place on 18th and 19th September with the start of the flight activities at 13.00.

Starting from 15.45 until 18.40 the event went live on Rai1 and, for the two days, on the social media channels of the Air Force(specifically the afternoon of September 18th on the Youtubechannel and the morning of the 19th on the Youtube channel)
