All’interno della base aerea militare di Cameri, sabato 12 Ottobre intorno alle ore 14.30, è stato organizzato un Media Day per un ristretto gruppo di persone ( giornalisti e familiari ) in occasione del rischieramento della Pattuglia Acrobatica Nazionale “Frecce Tricolori” insieme ai “Legend Team”, che sono giunti nell’aeroporto piemontese nella giornata di Venerdì 11 Ottobre in vista dell’ Air Show di Milano Linate in programma il 12/13 Ottobre.
Nella base aerea di Cameri, insieme agli MB-339PAN ( 11 aeromobili compreso quello del comandante ) erano presenti anche 2 MB-339 e 2 T-346 dell’Aeronautica Militare insieme ad 1 S-208, 1 SF-260, 1 Texan T-6 ed un MB-326; questi velivoli facevano parte della formazione dei “Legend Team”, anche loro all’interno della lista partecipanti della Manifestazione di Linate ed in volo poco prima delle Frecce Tricolori.
Diversi altri aerei civili e militari che hanno partecipato all’evento sono stati posizionati in altri aeroporti e/o hanno operato direttamente dalle proprie basi militari. Vedi l’F-35 decollato direttamente da Amendola, gli AMX da Istrana, i Tornado da Ghedi, il C-130 da Pisa…etc..etc… L’unico ad aver operato direttamente dall’Aeroporto di Linate è stato l’HH-139 AM del 15° Stormo.
Altri aeromobili e pattuglie civili infine hanno operato dall’Aeroporto di Bresso, distante pochi chilometri da Linate.
La manifestazione aerea, organizzata da SEA Milano Airports e dall’Aero Club Milano, con la collaborazione della 1° Regione Aerea dell’Aeronautica Militare, è stata un momento di festa e partecipazione in vista della prossima apertura dello scalo aeroportuale prevista il prossimo 27 ottobre, dopo tre mesi di chiusura per importanti lavori di ristrutturazione.
La partecipazione è stata numerosissima con ben 100.000 spettatori in due giorni; lo spettacolo è continuato anche la sera con il cabaret di Zelig, il concerto di Cristina d’Avena e l’esposizione di aerei storici. Molto apprezzate le esibizioni di Rockin’ 1000, la più grande cover band del mondo, di Manuel Agnelli e dei Subsonica.

A Media Day was organized inside Cameri air base for a small group of people ( journalists and relatives ), on Saturday 12th October around 2.30 p.m., for the deployment of the National Aerobatic Team “Frecce Tricolori”, together with the “Legend Team” that arrived at the Piedmont airport on Friday 11th October, in view of the Air Show of Milan Linate scheduled for 12th/13th October.
Inside Cameri air base, together with the MB-339sPAN (11 aircraft including the commander a/c ) there were also 2 MB-339 and 2 T-346 of the Air Force, 1 S-208, 1 SF-260, 1 Texan T-6 and an MB-326; these aircraft were part of the formation of the “Legend Team”, also in the participants list of the Linate event and in flight just before the “Frecce Tricolori”.
Several other civil and military planes that participated in the event were placed in other airports and / or operated directly from their military bases. For example, the F-35 that took off directly from Amendola, the AMXs from Istrana, the Tornados from Ghedi, the C-130 from Pisa…etc…etc… The only one to have operated directly from Linate Airport was the HH-139 AM of the 15th Wing.
Other aircraft and civil display teams finally operated from Bresso Airport, a few kilometers from Linate.
The air show, organized by SEA Milano Airports and the Aero Club Milano, with the collaboration of the 1° Regione Aerea of the Italian Air Force, was a moment of celebration and participation in view of the forthcoming opening of the airport on October 27th, after three months of closure for major renovation works.
The participation was very numerous with as many as 100,000 spectators in two days; the show also continued in the evening with the Zelig cabaret, the concert of Cristina d’Avena and the historic aircraft static display. The performances of Rockin’ 1000, the biggest cover band in the world, Manuel Agnelli and Subsonica were very appreciated.
